How do I activate BT Sport and how long does it take?

Access to the BT Sport Pack is via the Sky Satellite Platform. You don’t need BT Broadband or BT Vision.

If you’ve already got Sky equipment on your premises, just call us on 0800 678 1065. As you’re dealing with us direct we can set you up quickly and easily.

If you don’t have Sky (a set-top box, satellite and cabling) we’ll organise for our partner to install this at your premises (Charges may apply but please call to confirm). Please note our installations are subject to an average lead time of 11 – 12 days from the point of sale to installation on site

Who is BT Sport business for?

BT Sport for business is intended for commercial premises only. A commercial premise is defined as a location which wants to take BT Sport in a non-domestic property ie Pubs, clubs, hotels and bookmakers. These customers need a specialist commercial sports subscription in order for it to be televised legally to customers or staff.

Can I use the BT Sport App?

BT Sport Commercial can not be used on the App.

I’m an existing BT Sport customer – why can’t I find the BT Sport HD channels?

Why is there a 9 digit number appearing on my TV screen?

We show a 9 digit code on the top right hand corner of your TV screens across all BT Sport channels. This is just a validation code which we use to protect the investment of our commercial customers. Don’t worry, you don’t need to do anything, this will appear automatically when you’re tuned in to BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3 or BT Sport//ESPN.

How will you be protecting my investment?

We believe in the need to protect the investment of all commercial premises who legitimately invest in BT Sport and as such BT works with FACT – The Federation Against Copywrite Theft, to ensure that everyone can enjoy BT Sport legally. FACT conduct site visits throughout the season.

What is the BT Sport red button service?

BT Sport venues now have even more live action to offer their customers with the launch of the BT Sport Extra service through the ‘red button’. BT Sport Extra is on air at selected times providing additional content alongside the already strong line-up on BT Sport 1, BT Sport 2, BT Sport 3 and BT Sport ESPN. The new channels, designed to avoid clashes with other fixtures, will allow your customers to enjoy even more matches from across our great line up of content. When BT Sport red button programmes are being broadcast an onscreen message is displayed and the watermark will turn red. To view the programmes press the red button on the Sky remote.

I’ve signed up to BT Sport but can’t see any content on BT Sport 1, 2, 3 and BT Sport ESPN. What do I need to do?
