Midweek matters on BT Sport

We’ve got 11 live Premier League games in the next three weeks to help raise the temperature in your business

The winter months play a huge part in deciding who will be fighting for the title, European places and against the dreaded drop from the Premier League.

You’ll be able to keep across all of those battles with a glut of games coming your way on BT Sport in the next few weeks. And they are not all in our regular Saturday lunchtime slot. We’ve got midweek matches, double-headers and big games on Sundays too. Here’s what’s coming up to help you bring those football fans in from the cold.

Sheffield United vs Manchester City

The season’s surprise package take on the reigning Premier League champions. If City have even the slenderest of chances of catching Liverpool in the title race, this is a game they simply have to win.

Tuesday January 21, 7.30pm

Chelsea vs Arsenal

We double up on the 21st, which means you can take your pick or show two games at once. Two London giants with new, young managers who used to face each other in midfield battles. Now they’ll be planning on getting their tactics right as they look to climb the table.

Tuesday January 21, 8.15pm

Leicester vs West Ham United

The return of David Moyes to West Ham has resulted in an upturn in performances by the Hammers. Meanwhile, Leicester have hit a little bit of a sticky patch in an otherwise stellar season. It’s set up for an intriguing clash at the King Power.

United vs Burnley

Our second double-header in two days, and one of five midweek matches, is a battle of the North-West. In the same fixture last season, Burnley were 2-0 with less than five minutes to play but ended up walking away with a draw. Could they possibly go one better this season?

Wednesday January 22, 8.15pm

Wolves vs Liverpool

Thanks to their successes in the Europa League this season, Wolves have become accustomed to playing Thursday night football. It’s new territory for the Champions of Europe though, but nothing seems to phase them this season.

Leicester vs Chelsea

Two sides with their eyes on Champions League football next season will get February off to a flyer on BT Sport. They drew 1-1 at Stamford Bridge earlier in the season. Will we get a winner in this lunchtime match-up?

Sheffield United vs Bournemouth

At the start of the season most bar-room football fans would probably have predicted that Sheffield United would have been the more likely of these two to face the threat of the drop. Instead, it’s Bournemouth who are desperate for points to preserve their Premier League status. Join us at Sunday lunchtime for this one.

Sunday February 9, 2pm

Wolves vs Leicester

The turnaround at Southampton after the shocking 9-0 home defeat to Leicester has been nothing short of remarkable.
