October is set to deliver a frighteningly good line-up of live action on BT Sport.
The Champions League and Europa League returns (20th, 21st, 22nd) and we will also be bringing you the finals of rugby union’s Heineken Champions Cup, the Challenge Cup and the Gallagher Premiership.
And on top of all of that, the Premier League continues to deliver.
We’ll be bringing you at least seven live games (to be announced soon), including a couple of back-to-back match days, which should ensure there will be as many goals as ghouls once Halloween arrives.
Get those customers in as there are going to be some serious treats in store…
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace
Saturday October 3, 12.30pm
The Eagles are off to a flyer and will be looking to prey on Chelsea in this London derby. The West Londoners are packed full of new superstars, will they click into gear against Palace?
Everton vs Brighton
Saturday October 3, 3pm
Both of these sides have started the campaign in decent form. Everton fans have genuine reason to be excited about the new regime while Brighton have already won on the road and will be keen to avoid a relegation scrap this season.
Leicester City vs West Ham
Sunday October 4, 12pm
Two games in and the Foxes were invoking the spirit or 2016 by sitting on top of the table. West Ham, on the other hand, appear to be invoking the spirit of several seasons past with their unpredictable nature. It should make for an entertaining lunch.
Southampton vs West Bromwich Albion
Sunday October 4, 12pm
These two have both already appeared on BT Sport this season and both games resulted in games packed with seven goals. Both will want to avoid being the team that concedes five this time out though.
Everton vs Liverpool
Saturday, October 17, 12.30pm
Games don’t come much bigger than this Saturday lunchtime clash. For the first time in a while Everton go into this game in expectation rather than hope. The likes of James, Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin have got them off to a flyer… but the champions haven’t started too shabbily either. This is one your football fans will not want to miss.
West Ham United vs Manchester City
Saturday, October 24, 12.30pm
How do you follow a Merseyside derby? What about a double helping of Manchester City. This game comes a few days before they, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea start their Champions League campaigns (all live on BT Sport). West Ham will ensure they are fully focused on domestic matters first.
Sheffield United vs Manchester City
Saturday, October 31, 12.30pm
Last year’s surprise package and many people’s second favourite team are dealing with that tricky second season syndrome. What could be more frightening on Halloween than a visit from Manchester City? You can be sure the Blades will be up for the fight.
