We’re heading west for the start of the new Gallagher Premiership season on BT Sport.

It all kicks off again soon and you can bring the excitement to your venue with live coverage throughout the season on BT Sport.

Our first live top flight game of the season kicks off at Ashton Gate on Friday September 9 when Bristol Bears host rivals Bath Rugby.

And Bristol’s director of rugby Pat Lam can’t wait.
"It’s a Friday night, live on BT Sport, and everyone at the club – staff, and players – are already relishing the occasion."

It is the first of three live games on BT Sport on the opening weekend of the season. Saturday provides another barnstormer with current champions Leicester Tigers traveling to 2020 winners Exeter Chiefs.

And we round up our coverage on the Sunday at Kingsholm with Gloucester against Wasps.

It is set to be another thrilling campaign with no fewer than 74 live games on BT Sport throughout the season.

Interest is set to be high among pub and club-going rugby fans following the exciting conclusion to last season, which saw Leicester defeat Saracens with a last minute drop goal at Twickenham.

Rugby fans will also have an eye on star players following successful home nations tours to the southern hemisphere and ahead of the Six Nations in February and the Rugby World Cup in October 2023.
