See who made the pub cup draw

Regional qualifiers will get underway at six of the UK’s best stadiums next month

See who made the pub cup draw

The names have been drawn out of the hat and in just a few weeks’ time, pub teams from all over the UK will lace up their boots and prepare to play at some of the greatest grounds in the country.

Hundreds of BT Sport pubs registered to take part in this year’s BT Sport Pub Cup, and 48 lucky entrants have been selected to play in the regional heats.

The action starts at Loftus Road on May 10 with the first of six, seven-a-side tournaments. Further tournaments take place at Goodison Park – featuring last year’s winners the Liver Vaults – The Hawthorns, Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium, Easter Road and Hillsborough.

The winners of each heat then progress to play in the 11-a-side semi-finals at St George’s Park on May 20. A couple of weeks later the two finalists will head to Leicester’s King Power stadium for the final.

The two finalist teams will be coached by BT Sport pundits, former Welsh internationals Robbie Savage and John Hartson.

The pair recently visited The Four Elms from Cardiff ahead of its pub team’s participation in the Hawthorns heat.

As well as receiving Premier League treatment on the day, the two sides will have the chance to win the trophy, £5,000 of equipment and a free BT Sport subscription for a year.

We’ll keep you posted with all the news as the tournament progresses.
