Looking forward to seeing the back of 2020?
We kick 2021 off in style on BT Sport with 19 live Premier League games during the month. Every Premier League side will feature at least once as we bring you action from the top to the bottom of the league from January 1 to 30.
We are even taking over the midweek fixtures on January 26 to 28 with 10 live games over the three days.
The pick of the bunch sees champions Liverpool head to London to face Spurs in a top of the table clash. There are a stack of big matches, many being played back-to-back which will give pubs and clubs a chance to drive trade at a notoriously tricky time of the year.
Add to that 16 live FA Cup Third Round ties plus more from the Heineken Champions Cup and 2021 could get off to a flyer.
Here’s what’s coming up from the Premier League live on BT Sport…
Friday January 1
Everton vs West Ham, 5.30pm
While the nation may be feeling a little fragile we head up to Liverpool for our first game of 2021. Both of these sides have had their ups and down over the previous 12 months so we could be in for a thriller to get the year started.
Saturday January 2
Spurs vs Leeds, 12.30pm
West Brom vs Arsenal, 8pm
North London’s finest are currently at opposite ends of the table. We bring them to you at opposite ends of the day with Leeds and West Brom ready to kick off their calendar years.
Wednesday January 13
Man City vs Brighton, 6pm
The thirteenth could be unlucky for someone and the likelihood is that it will be Brighton who have struggled for points and goals while City have slowly started to pick up.
Saturday January 16
Wolves vs West Brom, 12.30pm
Leicester vs Southampton, 8pm
It’s live football all the way on BT Sport on January 16 with a hat-trick of games for your customers to enjoy. Leicester and Southampton who are both flying high conclude an action packed day.
Tuesday January 19
West Ham vs West Brom, 6pm
Which West is best? Find out on BT Sport on a cold Tuesday night in January.
Wednesday January 20
Fulham vs Man Utd, 8.15pm
Fulham seem to be enjoying life in the top flight far more than there were at the start of the season. This could have the look of a potential banana skin for the inconsistent Red Devils.
Tuesday January 26
Newcastle vs Leeds, 6pm
Brighton vs Fulham, 6pm
Southampton vs Arsenal, 8.15pm
West Brom vs Man City, 8.15pm
Our midweek takeover begins with back-to-back doubles to help you bring customers in on those notoriously difficult January nights. Brighton vs Fulham is a potential six-pointer while Southampton will aim to keep the pressure on the mis-firing Gunners.
Wednesday January 27
Chelsea vs Wolves, 6pm
Burnley vs Aston Villa, 6pm
Crystal Palace vs West Ham, 7.30pm
Man Utd vs Sheffield United, 8.15pm
Everton vs Leicester, 8.15pm
Your biggest challenge on this Wednesday to remember will be picking which games to show. With five live games you’ll be able to screen action all night from the top, middle and bottom of the Premier League
Thursday January 28
Spurs vs Liverpool, 8pm
We’ve arguably saved the best clash of the week to last with champions Liverpool facing challengers Spurs for the second time in six weeks. This could go some way to showing who can last the course in the race for the title.
Saturday January 30
Everton vs Newcastle, 12.30pm
There’s still time to fit one more live Premier League game in January, as we end the month where we start it. We had back to Goodison Park where Newcastle will be the visitors.
